Mission Priorities
For 2026, FCC has adopted five Mission Priorities, areas of our church’s life we wish to target for intentional development. We pray these priorities will help us follow Jesus more faithfully in our quest to become a renewed church for a new world.
Mission, Vision, and Identity. Who is God calling us to be in this time and place? (Jeremiah 29:11; Micah 6:8; Matthew 6:33)
Children, Youth, and Family Ministry. How can we minister more effectively to kids and families, and how can we be more intentionally intergenerational? (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
Discipleship/Christian Education. What structures will help our church grow in likeness to Christ? (Ephesians 4:15-16)
Leadership Development. How can we help emerging leaders cultivate their gifts—keeping in mind that Christian leaders are first and foremost servants? (Matthew 20:24-28; Romans 12:4-8)
Worship. How can we increase the energy and vitality of our worship life, maintaining the best of our tradition while cultivating openness to fresh expressions? (Psalm 96:1-4)
