Corey joined the FCC family in 2024, serving the church in a part-time capacity. Corey worked in collegiate ministry in Churches of Christ for six years before finding a spiritual home with the Disciples. His passion for helping churches share the love of Jesus with emerging generations and empowering churches to better serve their communities fits perfectly with the Disciples’ heart for inclusion and justice. Originally from Russellville, Corey attended Harding University in Searcy and earned his B.A. in Theology and Ministry in 2015 and his M.Div. in 2022. On weekdays he works for Gentiva Hospice in Conway as a Bereavement Coordinator, helping grieving families find peace. Corey and his wife Melissa met in 2013 as students at Harding and were married in 2017. They live in Conway, AR with their four loving, cantankerous cats.
