First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is affiliated with the religious community of the churches known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), through the Greater River Region of Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ), formerly known as Christian Churches in Arkansas Region, and the Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada General Church.

Chalice Symbol

The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has chosen the Chalice as its symbol because of its emphasis on weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper. The Chalice bears the X-shaped Cross of St. Andrew as a witness to our heritage as well as our devotion to sharing the Word.
